Depending on the weather, we ship Monday through Friday during Cool Weather Shipping months. Our factory is located in the middle of America: Springfield, Missouri. It can take anywhere from 1–8 days to ship around the U.S.
If you order $50 or more, we offer to ship your order free of charge via an economy method (generally up to 8 days), if it ships safely without melting. If you need expediency or peace of mind, we also provide options to guarantee shipment via FedEx Ground (1-4 days), FedEx Express 2-Day (2 days) and FedEx Overnight (1 day).
If it cannot ship safely without melting, but we think it might ship safely as weather conditions change in the foreseeable future, we will contact you to ask whether a) you would like to wait for your order until it's safe to ship or b) you would like to have your order shipped via an expedited method. If you would like to ship via an expedited method, a $10 surcharge will apply.
If it cannot (and will not) ship safely without melting in the foreseeable future, we will notify you that we plan to ship your order via an expedited method. A $10 surcharge will apply.
If shipping to multiple addresses: if your total order meets the $50 free shipping minimum, your first shipment qualifies for free shipping, but each subsequent shipment must meet the $50 minimum in order to qualify for free shipping.
Warm Weather Shipping: Free Ground Shipping On Orders over $59 (In The Lower 48). Could Be Ground or 2nd Day Depending On The Transit Time.
We ship Monday -- Wednesday during Warm Weather Shipping months.
All orders are shipped with polar packs to protect the chocolate; this means all orders must arrive in 48 hours or less.
Ground shipping is not an option for orders shipping anywhere beyond a 2 day transit from our factory (see chart below).
Orders of $59 or more will receive FREE SHIPPING (SmartPost, Ground or 2nd Day depending on transit time).
Customers spending less than $59 will be responsible for any necessary expediting costs.
Overnight shipping costs are not free or discounted.

Important Notes About Shipping
We do our best to ship orders the same day if received by 8:00 AM Central Time (unless transit time overlaps a weekend or holiday * —see asterisk below). Otherwise, we ship the following business day. We sometimes ship orders if received later the same day, but it is not guaranteed.
2nd Day Shipping does not mean you will receive your shipment two days after placing your order. The day after a package leaves the factory is counted as the first day. This is the same with Ground shipping. (For example: If you place your order at 1:00 P.M. on Monday and select FedEx 2nd Day as your shipping option, it will leave the factory on Tuesday, and arrive on Thursday.) Overnight shipping arrives the day after it leaves the factory.
We reserve the right to hold an order if we think it is too hot (this usually means over 100 degrees Fahrenheit). We also reserve the right to call you and ask if you want to upgrade your shipping if we believe that the warm weather will prevent your chocolate from arriving safely. This might mean that you would not be able to receive the shipping special if it is just too hot.
We would be glad to try to accommodate exceptions to these rules but we will need a phone call: (417-862-9900).
We highly recommend shipping to an address where someone will be able to receive the package when delivered. Many times FedEx will not leave the package outside of your home. If that is the case, they will try to deliver the package three more times before it is returned to us. If the FedEx delivery man does decide to leave the chocolate outside your home, it may be damaged by weather that is too hot, cold, rainy or humid. Suggestion: If you are shipping to someone's home and they will be at work during the day, consider shipping the chocolate to the recipient at their office.
Please note that all shipments to businesses require signatures at the time of delivery. Shipments to residences do not require a signature, unless it is specified at checkout.

FedEx Overnight and 2-Day
Overnight and 2-Day shipments will be sent out the same shipping day if the order is placed by 8 am. Otherwise, all other shipments will be sent out the following shipping day. Packages are normally delivered Monday through Friday (excluding holidays). Delivery on Saturday is available only to selected locations (contact FedEx at 800-Go-FedEx for details) and requires selection of the “Saturday Delivery” option at an extra charge.
FedEx Ground to Business Addresses
Packages are normally delivered Monday through Friday (excluding holidays).
FedEx Ground to Residential Addresses
Packages are normally delivered Tuesday through Saturday (excluding holidays), and there is no extra charge for Saturday Delivery. FedEx Ground does not deliver to residential addresses on Monday.
At this time, we do not currently ship Internationally. You still might be able to find our chocolate in your area, though. Please contact us at firstname.lastname@example.org or 417-862-9900 with questions about where to find our chocolate outside the US.

Can I return my Askinosie purchase?
